Technology has changed and affected the world in a positive and negative way. As technology continuously changes throughout time, so does the ways teachers use in their classrooms. A few years ago, schools had chalk boards then changed to white boards. Nowadays, teachers are using active boards, or smart boards.
Over the last five years, technology has been rapidly changing and expanding in every field imaginable. Smart phones are now capable of acting as standalone computer devices that can take pictures, search the Internet, send emails and text messages and yes, they even make phone calls.
Technology has undergone many changes throughout the years. Schools must be careful implementing technology in a balanced way because it can have many negative effects on children. Some examples may include the lack of privacy because they can share information to strangers and place them at risk of identity theft, cyberbullying, etc.Technological ideas keep getting unleashed as the world becomes more involved in exploring and utilizing the resources nature provides.
